Ecuador is a variety of Psilocybe cubensis. Coming from the high altitudes of the Andes mountain range in Ecuador, they are known to be able to withstand chillier temperatures. In nature the Ecuador variety is said to have large caps and stems. These mushrooms have gills which vary from white to purple-brown. Ecuador units are dark purplish brown to violet brown.

Received the order ( #13867) within of few days of shipment. I wanted to purchase two spore syringes but accidentally checked out with one. So I purchased another syringe, and without being prompted to do so, Mr. Mushroom combined my orders into one packaged and refunded the shipping fee for the second order. I love the stickers and a card that provides an overview of the species. The detailed instructions on how to properly transfer the spores onto slides for viewing are pretty helpful as well. Overall, I’m happy with the experience and recommend Mr. Mushroom to those needing mycology supplies.
